Affordable Health Care
Vietnamese American Services (VAS) is one of the first Vietnamese organizations to be certified with Maryland Health Connection (MDHC) to act as an outreach agency under the Affordable Care Act program. Our in-office certified application counselors have provided thousands of healthcare and social services applications, case management, and consultation services within Montgomery County alone for low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities.
Services:
- Affordable Healthcare Enrollment/Renewal assistance through Maryland Health Connection (for low-income families seeking healthcare with government assistance).
- Medicaid Enrollment/Renewal assistance (for low-income seniors who are not eligible for MDHC).
- Medicare Enrollment/Renewal assistance
- Accessible healthcare services through community clinic partnerships, health presentations, and more.
- Other services: Translation, interpretation, consultation
