VAS provides drop-in English classes at no cost to seniors, new immigrants, and low-income community members. We also serve as a referral service that connects our community with job opportunities. Since 2017, we provided thousands of hours of teaching English to hundreds of students and helped many people get jobs with the Dietz and Watson Corporation, Merit Logistics and other small businesses. Classes serve learners from beginner level with a focus on daily life conversation.

Hi, My name is Allison Ly and I stumbled upon your organization because I’m doing an informative speech on a non-profit organization in Montgomery County. I just wanted to say I am so happy there are non-profits like the VAS that exist. These older generations deserve to adapt to this society because as we know, they are amazingly strong people who deserve so much more. Thank you for doing what you do. You all are amazing people.
